Our facilities
First-class facilities
At Sun Hill Farm there is continuous development of the facilities, along with three American-style barns accommodating up to 70 horses, two wash bays, and an enclosed trotting ring where the horses collect and warm up each morning before exercise. The woodchip gallop was recently fully resurfaced in 2024 to facilitate the larger number of horses.
Sun Hill is a purpose-built, state-of-the-art yard with wonderful facilities. Situated in Constable Burton, near Leyburn, and only three miles from the well-known historical racing centre of Middleham. The A1 is less than six miles away, and there are 12 racecourses within a two-hour drive from Sun Hill, making it the ideal location for a racing yard.
The gallops and facilities at Sun Hill are world-class, matched with a proven track record and an outstanding legacy of success at the highest level within both British and international flat racing.
